The Taunton office of Clarke Willmott LLP has grown with the appointment of a new partner in the private client team.

Tom Chiffers has joined the firm as partner specialising in inheritance tax and succession planning for private individuals, farmers and other businesses.

Having lived and worked in rural Somerset his whole life, Tom’s work has a strong focus on agricultural issues, in particular the transfer of farms and businesses to the next generation. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
