One of the UK’s leading innovators in the provision of online accountancy services Milsted Langdon has teamed up with the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and Microsoft to deliver a webinar on the company’s Power BI software, which looks set to revolutionise the world of modern accounting.

The hour long event, due to be hosted from 10am on 24 May, will give accountants from across the UK and around the world the opportunity to learn more about the opportunities available through Microsoft’s Power BI system through one of its key adopters Milsted Langdon.

During the webinar James Marshall, Microsoft Small and Medium Business Chief Technology Officer will outline the latest on how to capture and harness data for clients through Power BI and Chris Downing Business Intelligence Partner at Milsted Langdon will demonstrate how their firm is using this to add value to their service.

Speaking ahead of the event, Chris said: “Microsoft Power BI is a fantastic way of collating data and visualising it to provide a greater insight into a business’s finances.

“We have found that it really adds value to the analysis and advice we provide to our clients, so I am delighted that Microsoft and the ACCA have invited us to take part in this webinar.

“I would encourage accountants and business leaders to sign up for this event to find out how this incredible software can assist them.”

Chris has been sharing his experience with Power BI at a number of events recently, including at the Accountex 2017, where there was a lot of interest in the useful applications made possible by the software.
