Described by legal industry bible Chambers as a ‘dominant force’ in the marketplace, Stephens Scown LLP has recognised the experience and expertise of eight of its rising stars in the Firm’s latest round of promotions across a range of specialist legal services.


The Employee-owned law firm, which consistently receives top rankings in Chambers and Legal 500 independent guides to legal services, has made promotions to Partner, Senior Associate and Associate levels.


A specialist in the social housing and marine sectors, Kate Westlake is celebrating her promotion from Associate to Partner. Quickly rising through the ranks of the Firm’s Real Estate team, she undertakes work in a range of commercial property matters including development, acquisitions and disposals of property, commercial leases and licences and charging and security work. Her clients include developers, landlords and tenants, social housing providers and owners of property portfolios.


Meanwhile, Antonia Melville-Shreeve, a solicitor in the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate team and Sian Barrett in the Construction Law team have been promoted to Senior Associate.


In addition, Charlotte Crane in Stephens Scown’s Residential Property team, Laura Stanley in the Dispute Resolution team, Rebecca Davies and Charlotte Owens in the Real Estate team and Kai Whicker in the Family team have been promoted to Associate.
