Leading accountancy and business advisory firm Haines Watts has expanded its footprint in the North West, following the acquisition of The Accounts Company.

Based in Salford, The Accounts Company is an established firm of accountants and advisors who specialise in business planning, cloud technology and growth. With strongly aligned business values and objectives, the acquisition will consolidate The Accounts Company's legacy, as Peter Rushton, Managing Director of the firm retires after 16 years.

The acquisition comes as part of Haines Watts' organic and acquisitive growth strategy and will see the firm expand into Salford's growing community of SMEs, whilst bolstering its regional expertise in cloud accounting, in a bid to further support its owner managed business client base.
