Commercial dispute resolution lawyer joins Lodders as partner

Commercial dispute resolution specialist David Whiting is the latest in a series of senior appointments at law firm Lodders, and joins as a partner in the firm’s Dispute Resolution practice.


Lodders’ 12-strong Dispute Resolution team, which is headed by Jane Senior and now includes six partners, has recorded sustained growth in demand for its range of dispute resolution services over the last 18 months.


“David’s appointment is a strategic step in our ambitious plans for continued expansion,”

explains Jane Senior.
“He is a recognised specialist in commercial dispute resolution and his expertise and skills represent a significant and complementary addition to the practice, which continues to grow in size, resource and instructions from clients in a range of sectors.”


David was previously a partner and head of the Dispute Resolution team at Banbury firm Spratt Endicott for five years.


Prior, he was a partner in the dispute resolution and insolvency practice at East Midlands law firm Howes Percival for four years, and for nine years at Needham & James.


A member of the Commercial Litigation Association, David is a specialist in all areas of resolving commercial disputes, particularly contracts, negligence, director and shareholder disputes, contentious insolvency and warranty claims, and experienced in securing an effective resolution through court proceedings as well as via mediation, arbitration and expert determination.
