Commercial finance specialist, Christie Finance, has supported established nursery operator, Ms Victoria Adams, to refinance her current childcare business, Teddy Towers Ltd, and to develop her portfolio through the acquisition of Toddlers Pre-school Learning, now trading as Toddlers Children's Nursery.

Ms Adams established Leyland-based Teddy Towers in 2016 and has since substantially grown the business. It regularly receives glowing parent feedback and has a ‘Good’ with ‘Outstanding’ elements Ofsted rating. The business has capacity for up to 30 children and benefits from an excellent outside play space.

With the help of Christie Finance, Ms Adams was also able to acquire the leasehold of Toddlers Children's Nursery, a 43-capacity children’s day nursery which has been established for several years. Toddlers Children's Nursery is located in north Manchester and sits within a densely populated residential area.

Both nurseries are just a 40-minute drive from one another, allowing an effective management structure for Ms Adams and her team.

Ms Adams intends to oversee the managers in place at both nurseries so that she can focus her efforts on developing her business portfolio. She plans to maintain the successful running of Toddlers Children's Nursery, avoiding any major material changes and interrupting business operation. In the short-term, she will continue to work on occupancy levels at both nurseries.
