More than 300 Santas and four-legged festive friends took to the streets of Media City last Sunday, raising more than £9,000 for various charities.

PHMG staff across the globe are set to increase the total raised to a massive £15k as they take part in Santa Dashes on the 7 and 8 December in the United States, Canada and Australia.

The event, organised by Manchester-based audio branding specialists PHMG, featured an initial warm up by DW Fitness, with charity partner the Red Cross opening the 3km race.

Gordon Low at the British Red Cross commented:

“PHMG has donated over £11k to our disaster fund already this year, which is absolutely fantastic. We are delighted to be one of the five charities set to benefit from the very generous amount of money raised.”

Taking place under PHMG’s official charity, the PHMG Foundation, the Dash has gone from strength to strength over the years and is now the charity’s flagship event.

Since its launch in 2013, the charitable fund has raised more than £500,000 for more than 70 employee-chosen charities so far.

Mind, Cancer Research UK, The National Alliance on Mental Illness, SOS Children’s Villages Illinois and the Red Cross are the chosen charities for 2019.
