A local football team based in Inkberrow has recently been provided with a brand new kit by leading housebuilder David Wilson Homes Mercia.

The developer, who is currently building homes close by at its Abbey Gate development in Redditch, donated over £600 to the Inkberrow Eagles Girls FC to kit them out for the start of the new season.

Mark Wilkinson, Team Manager for Inkberrow Eagles Girls FC, said:

“As a community football club, we strive to give all girls of any ability the opportunity to get involved in football.

“The generous donation from David Wilson Homes has meant that all of the girls who currently play for the club are now able to proudly represent the town that they are a part of!”

Philippa Stewart, Sales Manager at David Wilson Homes Mercia said,

“We are delighted to be able to help the Inkberrow Eagles by providing them with a new kit.

“As well as building quality homes, it is important that we support the local communities that exist in and around our developments.”

Abbey Gate is ideally located for a range of buyers, with close by commuter links including the A435, M42 and M40, making the journey to work easier than ever before.

There is currently a range of two, three and four bedroom homes available to reserve at the development, with prices starting from £217,500.

There are plenty of schemes house hunters can use to help them when reserving a property at a David Wilson Homes development, including Help to Buy, Part Exchange and Movemaker, all designed to make the moving process that much simpler for buyers.
