Engineers’ House supports Bristol charity

EEF Venues’ Engineers’ House in Clifton, Bristol is donating a meeting room to the Bristol-based Meningitis Research Foundation to support the charity’s strategic planning.


The charity’s vision is to have of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia by raising awareness of these deadly diseases, supporting families affected by them and funding research into effective vaccines, diagnostics and treatments.


Rob Dawson, Head of Communications, Advocacy and Support with the Meningitis Research Foundation, said:

“Meningitis Research Foundation has developed a new strategy to help defeat meningitis. To take this forward for the next three years we need space to develop our work plans, without distraction.

“Engineers’ House has provided the perfect location for us to focus our minds and enable us to share ideas so that we can get the best results for families and individuals affected by or at risk of meningitis and septicaemia.

“We are extremely grateful to EEF Venues for donating this much-needed space, refreshments and lunch to us on a complimentary basis for the second year running.”
