Leicester-based vehicle management company Total Motion are celebrating for the 2nd year running being named among the top “1000 Companies to Inspire Britain” by the London Stock Exchange Group (“LSEG”).
Total Motion is featured in the LSEG’s 2017 annual report which lists the UK’s most dynamic SMEs and high growth potential companies across all regions and industry sectors.
The business is listed as an East Midlands transportation sector company in the £20million to £30 million revenue band.
Total Motion, with its head office on Meridian Business Park, is the largest family run and privately owned leasing and fleet management provider in the UK.
In line with its growth plans, it has more than doubled its workforce over the past three years and now employs more than 60 people.
Total Motion managing director Simon Hill said he was delighted to see the company featured in such a prestigious national report again.
“We are constantly taking steps to drive our business forward through innovative new products and services and by recruiting the very best people.

Xavier Rolet, CEO of LSEG, said the companies featured among the 1000 were the lifeblood of the UK economy.
In the report’s foreword, he said the businesses in the report were “Britain’s greatest prospect for building a resilient and productive economy that works for everyone.”
Mr Rolet added:“It is important to highlight companies with the potential to scale-up – those which have an astonishing impact on our economic output.
“And, because these companies tend to grow through innovation – either offering new services or reimagining the provision of existing business models – the jobs they create are more productive, addressing another major structural problem in our economy.”
Total Motion was in both Leicestershire’s Top 200 and the East Midlands Top 200 last year for being among the region’s fastest growing companies, on the basis of profit growth. It also received awards at the East Midlands Chamber Awards and the Niche Awards 2016.
