Embassy Freight Services are helping Boldmere based, Property Manager and Owner Steve Alexander, who has amongst his bucket list pursuits, racing mono planes, with his next venture.
Steve will be entering his Lagonda Rapier 1931 car in The Lake Perkolilli ‘Red Dust Revival’ at Kanowna Fremantle, Western Australia, between the 12th – 16th September this year. The classic race event is for pre-1940 cars and motorbikes that race over a four-day period.
Managing Director Keith Beresford and his team at Embassy Freight Services have undertaken the task of the shipping of the car, including having the car custom cleared and delivered to site in time for the race, and they have managed all of the arrangements, including the documentation necessary:- an ATA Carnet with the both the Chamber and customs. They will also arrange for the car to be shipped back to the UK after the race has finished.
Local transport company ICT, who are also based in the West Midlands, handled both the loading and securing of the car at their Tamworth depot, whilst under the supervision of Embassy Freight Services.
Embassy are delighted to have helped Steve in his race to Oz and wish him the best of luck in the race!
