Solihull-based executive coach, bus and chauffeur car company LandFlight has invested more than £330,000 in new vehicles for its fleet to help it cope with increased demand on its services.

Cementing a growing relationship with German car giant Mercedes-Benz, LandFlight has purchased a new 49-seat Mercedes Tourismo coach, added a Mercedes V-Class to its MPV range and brought in two more E-Class saloons for its chauffeur and airport transfer services.

It represents a move towards an all-Mercedes fleet for the company, which counts many global airlines among its customers and extended its working relationships with Lufthansa and Air India earlier this year.

LandFlight also counts the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO), Jaguar Land Rover, Emirates and Qatar Airways among its clients.

Director Danny Matthews said:

“We’re growing our fleet to deal with increased demand and we expect we will have to grow it even further over the next few months, based on further business opportunities.

It’s a very positive sign for us to be able to make this commitment off the back of a very busy year and a number of key contract extensions.”

The addition of the new vehicles represents a total investment of around £336,000 and takes LandFlight’s fleet up to 33.
