The mission: Transport over 3000 people to Wembley Stadium to take part in 30 hours of nonstop dancing.

Bouden Coach Travel orchestrated the movement of these dancers from various Tesco locations across the UK. Dancing began at 8am on July 19, and ended with a new record at 9.03 on Saturday morning.

A vast amount of coaches were provided by Bouden Coach Travel from 20 different pick up points including; Exeter, Nottingham, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Welwyn Garden City and more. Each group transported were allocated a different time slot throughout the day therefore it was crucial to make sure everything ran smoothly in order to carry out the world record attempt.

Disaster struck when one of the coaches from Liverpool broke down whilst on the way to Wembley on Friday. Bouden Coach Travel’s operation team were quick to act and found a replacement coach within 30 minutes ensuring the group made their time slot without any delays.

Sophie Baugh, transport manager at Bouden Coach Travel had this to say;

‘Being involved with a World record attempt is quite simply amazing. We are proud to say that because of our transport service these people were able to unite on the dancefloor in support of Cancer Research UK, The British Heart Foundation and Diabetes UK.'

Aston Merrygold of JLS and Kimberly Wyatt of The Pussycat Dolls led the record-breaking dance marathon. The previous record was smashed and the new record now stands at 30 hours.
