A local logistics technology company, specialising in delivery management systems for sectors including construction, retail, warehousing and logistics contractors, is celebrating receiving award success having been shortlisted for a prestigious award.
Zone Manager Ltd, who are based in Redditch have been shortlisted as finalists at the upcoming North Worcestershire Business Awards in the Best Start-up Business of the Year category. These awards are being organised by North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWedR) and NWBL (North Worcestershire Business Leaders).
Zone Manager directors Nick Hoare and Marcus Draper had found themselves proud owners of a thriving new business less than 12 months since the idea of venturing into business ownership even crossed their minds. It was the belief in the product and themselves that has ultimately resulted in the company marching to success.
Their former employer had been through ownership changes and had decided not going to continue development of their delivery management software. Nick and Marcus had other ideas.
Believing in the strength of the product whilst also seeing the potential for the product that they had worked on together; the pair decided to approach the owners and seek to buy out Zone Manager from the rest of the business.
The deal was done and Zone Manager Ltd was born.

Along with other finalists, Zone Manager will find out if they’ve won at the North Worcestershire Business Awards ceremony at Hogarths Stone Manor on 28th November.
