A group of hardy property experts from Henley-in-Arden will be striding out for charity this weekend, as they take to the Welsh Three Peaks to raise funds for the Marine Conservation Society.

Ascending over 2334 metres whilst litter picking along the way, the team from online letting agent lettingaproperty.com is raising awareness of single-use plastic and the devastating effect it has on our oceans.

Aiming to walk 17 miles in under 17 hours, the gruelling schedule was something that the team wanted to conquer in a bid to raise £2,000.

MD of the company Jonathan Daines said:

“We plan a charity event every few years to raise funds for causes that our aligned to what we as a team believe in, and after witnessing widespread plastic waste on sea shores here in the UK and further afield, we felt it was the perfect cause for us this summer.

“Furthermore, because we have recently expanded our operations to open up into the Welsh market, we thought that walking the Welsh Three Peaks was the perfect location for us to stretch our legs, challenge ourselves and raise vital funds along the way.”

The team depart Henley-in-Arden this Thursday [11th July], and will be walking from 5am on Friday 12th with the aim to have completed all three peaks by 9pm the same evening.
