This month we will be getting together with clients and staff to celebrate 5 years of operating out of the Manchester office!

Enzygo as a group of companies have operated since 2008, starting out as just three people, steadily rising over the years to our current size of over 60!

Enzygo are an independent, multi-disciplinary environmental consultancy with a proven track record of delivering creative, integrated and cost-effective solutions that maximise the potential of development sites. We have substantial experience in the delivery of all types of developments, including major infrastructure projects, residential housing schemes and renewable energy programs, across a broad range of environmental disciplines, including Planning, Hydrology and Drainage, Permitting and Regulation, Landscape, Ecology, Transport, Geo-Environmental and Hydrogeology, Noise and Vibration, Air Quality and Arboriculture.

We have grown utilising our robust business model of director lead project management ensuring robust environmental solutions for the built environment. We are proud to have operated and flourished during the recession and throughout the covid epidemic. We believe that our growth is down to our engaged workforce and the internal enhancement of our current staff via an offer of a bespoke management training programme as well as general software and IT workshops. We are confident that this will enhance our team’s skills which will result in positive outcomes in terms of operation management, management of self and other people within teams, and our overall project delivery and finances.

In 2017, with the success of operating out of offices in Sheffield and Bristol behind us, the decision to take on a Manchester office was made in order to widen our business reach. We are now servicing approximately 60 clients across the Northwest from the Manchester office, as well as other clients throughout the UK. Since being in Manchester, the area we have expanded into mostly is residential, with other areas of expansion being logistics/commercial/strategic, infrastructure, architects and engineers, planning consultancies, energy and renewables, leisure, and local authorities. In terms of revenue, our most successful service operating from the Manchester office is Landscape. Staff wise, we have seen an increase from 2 to 12 in the space of 5 years, with expansion expected in our Ecology, Planning, Air Quality and Hydrology teams in the next 12-18 months.
