Hilton Herbs is the South West’s first stop for natural supplements for animals. With this year marking the Somerset-based animal supplements manufacturer’s 25th anniversary, a host of very modern celebrations are lined up.
Not least the unveiling of new, more customer-centric websites, a new range of parabens-free animal shampoos, the rebranding of the pet products and an exciting run of special free gifts and promotions.
“We’re revamping our four multilingual websites to cater for the increasing number of customers shopping from smartphones or tablets,” explains Managing Director Tony Self who founded the company with his wife Hilary.
Hilton Herbs has successfully been manufacturing herbal feed supplements and healthcare products for animals for over two decades which have seen more than their fair share of challenges, such as the last Foot and Mouth epidemic and various economic downturns
Even as the nation’s businesses struggled through the recent recession, Hilton Herbs registered one of its biggest success to date: by focusing on boosting exports and working with the UKTI, it has seen exports rise year on year for the last six years and has been named UKTI sponsored Somerset Exporter of the Year twice.
Employing 17 full-time staff and with a UFAS-accredited warehouse facility and HQ on Downclose Farm, North Perrott, the company is a world away from its beginnings in an unused stable on Hilary and Tony’s Surrey farm.
The early products proved so successful that the couple decided start a business - and the rest is history.
Unchanged in 25 years however, is the mission to provide customers with top-quality natural products and to back this up with an expert and friendly customer service team.
