ART offers loans to businesses based in the West Midlands unable to access any or all of the finance they need from the banks. Our lending team makes a personal assessment of loan applications - we like to understand your business and get to know you. We don’t use computerised credit scoring.
What we look for from a potential borrower is a realistic plan for repaying a loan, market knowledge and enthusiasm, and the opportunity to create or protect jobs.
Our loans range from £10,000 to £150,000 and can be used for any business purpose, including to support cashflow. We often lend alongside other financers, making up a package of finance, which may exceed £150,000 in total. Our expert team can signpost you to other sources of finance where appropriate.

Funding
ART is a mutual organisation, owned by its members – both borrowers and investors. Corporate and individual investments provide a base from which ART Business Loans is able to attract additional funds from a variety of public and private sector sources, including the banks.
