PXtech, world leader in transforming operational efficiency through live web-based solutions in the hospitality and charity sectors, is gearing up for growth in 2018 by announcing an internal reorganisation and office expansion.

PXtech was founded in 1999 and has spent the years since going from strength to strength. With a focus on technical excellence and industry expertise, their solutions play an essential role in more than 40,000 business locations around the world on a daily basis.

As part of a strategic plan for growing, PXtech has refined its strategy and strengthened its Board of Directors for the coming year.

The Hospitality business will invest in expanding and developing its already world-leading advanced data analytics and POS reporting solutions. With solutions already used across the globe, PXtech will look to increase its market share within the Hospitality industry in the UK and beyond in 2018.

The Charity business sees PXtech create a specific dedicated team to work on developing new solutions for the third sector. The team will be focussing on expanding PXtech’s range of technology solutions that assist charities in transforming their engagement with supporters and volunteers, and driving increased revenues.

With this in mind, PXtech is creating two new roles on the Board; Kerry Townsend is promoted to Director of Hospitality Business, while Adrian Howlett, current CTO, takes on the additional role of Director of Charity Business. Pete Hughes, founder and owner of PXtech, is re-joining the board as CFO and Richard Merrick, an experienced business strategist and corporate executive, joins as an Interim Director of Change.

To accommodate the growing business, the award-winning company has taken 4,800 sq ft of additional office space across the road from its headquarters at Pinnacle Way on Derby’s Pride Park.

As well as providing additional premium office space, the move will also help the company’s sustainability initiative as employees will be encouraged to use the electric car charging points installed at the premises.

Richard Dorf, CEO at PXtech, said:

"These changes will strengthen our Board and form the foundations for PXtech’s growth in the coming years. We’re looking to expand our work within the Charity market, not only with our established POS business and our new digital Gift Aid solution but also using our software skills to drive further innovation in the sector. In the Hospitality market we will build on our worldwide success and continue to expand our range of leading solutions with the increased use of data analytics.

I'd like to congratulate Kerry on her promotion to director and Pete and Adrian on their new roles. All have played a vital part in the PXtech story so far and will play an even bigger role as we go forward.I would also like to welcome Richard Merrick to his vital interim role helping PXtech to drive the changes it needs for continuing growth.”
