Godel has been chosen by Domino’s, the UK’s leading pizza brand, to help it re-engineer its eCommerce platform, to Microsoft Azure using a microservices architecture. In doing so, Domino’s will ultimately obsolete its existing monolithic platform.

Working alongside Domino’s in-house SCRUM development teams in its head office in Milton Keynes, the Godel teams of developers in Belarus are providing software development, quality assurance and DevOps services, together with consultancy in terms of Domino’s product development roadmap, architectural and testing strategy and a gradual re-platforming of services piece by piece.

“We chose to work with Godel as it was clear the team offer the level of skills to help deliver and enhance the architectural design for the services we’re working on and the quality assurance to go with it,”

explains Amjid Chohan, software development manager, Domino’s Pizza Group.

“Finding the right mix of software development skills from our base in Milton Keynes is increasingly challenging - but Godel provides the answer in terms of being able to access the talent we need at the speed required to meet the business demands within a fast-moving marketplace.”

Paul Green, chief commercial officer, Godel said:

“Like many businesses keeping pace with the speed of digitisation and the demands of partners and customers, Godel is able to provide Domino’s with increased product and quality assurance capabilities to maintain competitiveness in a fast moving marketplace – we’re thrilled to have such a high profile British brand to work alongside.”
