Cyber security firm aims for more growth with marketing head hire

A leading cyber security firm has hired a new head of marketing to help increase growth in the UK and overseas.


Foregenix, which recorded annual sales growth of 35% for the past four years, has hired Eduardo Hotta who will head a marketing team of four.


Hotta's brief will include developing localised campaigns in overseas markets which now account for two-thirds of all revenue and continue to raise the profile of the business.


Hotta joins from cloud-based software firm BLACKBX where he was responsible for driving new leads globally. A native of the state of São Paolo, Brazil - where Foregenix set-up a new office this year - Hotta is a fluent English and Spanish speaker in addition to his native Portuguese.


Wiltshire headquartered Foregenix offers high-level cyber security consultancy and develops threat detection software for websites. Approaching its tenth anniversary, Foregenix is now a recognised industry authority in fields such as digital forensics and Point-to-Point Encryption compliance for payment systems, validating 47% of solutions globally.
