This year Cybersmile were looking to make their #StopCyberbullyingDay campaign even bigger and better. And, to help reach a mass audience with user generated content, they got in touch with One Minute Briefs founder Nick Entwistle who encouraged his followers (otherwise known as the OMBLES) to share their ideas to raise awareness of this positive cause.

Nick Entwistle said; “I was happy to help raise awareness for such a positive and would like to thank the amazing One Minute Briefs followers for sharing so many amazing ideas that helped to spread positive messages across the world. We hope to continue to work with Cybersmile for many years to come.”

Nick also works as a Creative Director within film and offered to help the Cybersmile with their film content to help push the campaign further. He then collaborated with Trunk to deliver an impactful video, in which celebrities from across the world got involved to send their messages of support for the cause.

Trunk edited this together and also delivered a bright, branded animation for Cybersmile to use on all content in the future. This was really well received by the Cybersmile team and the various edits across Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and Twitter have been seen hundreds of thousands of times.

This was all launched on #StopCyberbullyingDay as the campaign trended and the positive conversation spread across the internet.

Adam Britton, Creative Director of Trunk, also starred in the video alongside Nick and commented; “As an engagement agency that specialises in online content, we think it is really important to give back to the online community and what better way than supporting this amazing foundation. It is so important to raise awareness now more than ever as online bullying is consistently ruining lives, we are just honoured to be involved.”

As a result of their involvement, both Trunk and One Minute Briefs were announced as official partners of Cybersmile alongside big names such as WWE, Intel and Twitter.

Whilst gaining many thousands of views, the film content generated millions of social media impressions and, most importantly, sparked mass positive conversation online.

"We are grateful for the support of One Minute Briefs and Trunk on Stop Cyberbullying Day. Their contribution to the day and work behind the scenes on our video PSA helped us reach new audiences around the world with inspiring messages." said Iain Alexander, Head of Engagement - The Cybersmile Foundation.

It is great to see two Manchester agencies combining their skills to power campaigns that have a lasting impact on the world stage. We are sure there are many more of these campaigns to come.
