Two new stores will open at the Mailbox – Birmingham’s premium shopping, dining and lifestyle destination – bolstering its impressive existing retail offering, including international names such as Emporio Armani, BOSS, Paul Smith and Harvey Nichols’ 45,000 sq ft flagship store.

Opening in August, shoppers can expect to find a range of the finest handmade leather shoes and boots at English Brands, alongside popular, quality and high-end men’s fashion brands including Sanders, Loake, Gaziano & Girling, Cheaney and John White. Burrows & Hare – shortlisted in the Drapers Independent Awards 2018, Best New Retailer category – presents a collection of premium clothing, grooming and lifestyle products for men including impressive brands such as Sunspel, Oliver Spencer and A.B.C.L., which will all be available when the store opens in the autumn.

David Pardoe, head of marketing, retail and tenant engagement at the Mailbox said:

“We’re delighted to be welcoming English Brands and Burrows & Hare to the Mailbox later this year. We’re confident their high quality products will resonate with our customers and perfectly complement our existing mix of high-end fashion retailers; consolidating our reputation as the city’s leading destination for menswear and lifestyle pieces.

”We’re extremely proud to offer a platform to our retailers whereby they can connect with the region’s discerning consumers, and it’s fantastic that the Mailbox is being recognised by independent brands in this way. I have no doubt the new stores will be a huge success in Birmingham.”

Michail Bolohs, founder and CEO of English Brands said:

“We’ve been looking for the opportunity to bring our high-end products to the right location for some time, and the Mailbox’s aspirational mix of stores and restaurants seemed like the perfect fit – we truly see it as the ideal place for us to be situated in this wonderful city.”

Azeem Ansari, director of Burrows & Hare said:

“Whilst Birmingham may be called the second city, we see it as the only place to be right now. With the broader investment and bigger companies looking at moving to the city, we couldn’t be happier to be joining at such an exciting time. We look forward to meeting our new customers at the Mailbox very soon.”

The Mailbox is also home to Harvey Nichols’ 45,000 sq ft flagship store, home furnishings retailers including Heal’s, MADE.COM, Bo Concept, Wesley Barrell, Calligaris, iLite, Kitchen Gallery SieMatic and Harvey Jones Kitchens, all located on Level 1. Guests can also find Ribble Cycle’s first flagship showroom, The Wedding Club and Fine & Country, in addition to Everyman Cinema, Malmaison, AC Hotels and the Mailbox’s popular canalside bars and restaurants.

Nash Bond and GVA are leasing agents for the Mailbox.
