Britain’s most decorated Olympian, Jason Kenny, launched his new JK9 Line of performance Cycle Wear today with HUUB at Derby’s Velodrome

The cycling legend, who won his seventh gold medal in Tokyo has been working with HUUB since June and is passionate about bringing aero and speed to all.

The kit was designed with the aim of making top level cycling more accessible to all thanks to aerodynamically tested fabrics purposed for real world speeds and not just optimised for velodrome speed.

He said:

“It’s been really exciting to be involved in creating this new range for HUUB and I’ve been able to give my input throughout the process, even down to the finest details.

“From the initial concepts I wanted this to be something others can enjoy and perform in when out in the real world, not just in the velodrome. I hope people love it and get some massive aero-dynamic benefits.”

The jersey comprises of wind tunnel tested fabric giving you an advantage at all speeds, while maintain regular comfort and practicality with breathable body, 3 regular pockets and even a zip pocket and reflective elements.

While the shorts keep HUUB’s patented 3D multi density chamois, a raw cut edge with reduced external seams for aerodynamics whilst keeping an anatomical shape and using Italian elastics on the bib to help provide all day comfort.

Dean Jackson, HUUB's CEO, commented,

"With Jason Kenny being one of the fastest ever men to grace a velodrome, naturally the JK line is based around speed. Not in the normal sense of race specific kit, this was designed with bringing speed and aerodynamic advantages to normal cyclists in a range of kit that can be used from café racing to Strava hunting, to simply wanting a faster average speed.

“We wanted to make this range accessible to cyclists at every level who just want to get better speed and look great while doing it, and I’m confident we’ve done that.”
