Penny Whitelock has been appointed as new managing director at Derbyshire based caravan and motorhome wholesale distributors, Miriad Products.

With almost 20 years’ experience running a business Penny, who has been working with Miriad in a coaching role, stepped up to take the job when the opportunity was made available to her. Penny felt she was able to support the team even further from the MD position.

She said:

“I feel that I have so much to give to this role and be able to support Miriad’s growth. The team are open minded and keen to learn new things, so I know we’ll be able to challenge the status quo together.

“I can’t wait to see Miriad go from strength to strength. I am hoping that we will be launching new products, entering new markets and achieving industry recognised awards in the near future.”

As a strong supporter of female entrepreneurs and a mentor for the Cherie Blaire Foundation, it comes as no surprise that Penny herself has a strong business repertoire which includes being a business owner for 19 years.

With a strong history in executive coaching Penny is best known for developing profit and market growth. Her work has taken her to the highest level garnering significant recognition and she has been shortlisted for International Executive Coach of the Year for three years.

Using experience gained from previous significant senior roles in market leading organisations, including MD at Auto Trader, Penny has many exciting things planned for the future of Miriad Products. Plans include building new skills within the team at all levels, developing the digital footprint and working to improve processes.
