A respected Worcester jeweller is marking her 21st anniversary in the city with a series of special events for customers.

Award-winning jewellery designer Anja Potze and her team, who create and source tailor-made pieces, are hosting the events to thank customers who have helped the business become one of city’s leading jewellers since Anja arrived in Worcester in the nineties.

A programme of showcase evenings, networking events and a festive Christmas night are all planned by the Dutch-born jeweller to mark her 21-year milestone.

They follow the first event held in September at Eckington Manor, which saw 2015 Masterchef winner Mark Stinchcombe creating canapes for over 90 guests.

Anja said: “To be celebrating our 21st birthday here in Worcester is amazing and it was important to me to mark it with a programme of special events to say thank you to all our customers, new and old.

“It’s a big milestone for any business and we wouldn’t be here without that support.

“Over recent years we have added expertise to our team, invested in our Friar Street store, regularly unveiled beautiful designs and launched a new website which has ensured our customers can shop with us whenever and wherever they please. It’s essential we continue to be innovative.”

In the past 18 months alone two new members of staff have joined the business which was also recently rated as one of the top jewellers in Worcester by the website, Three Best Rated. Award-winning design expert and Birmingham School of Jewellery graduate Laura Golborne has joined the six-strong team alongside commercial and retail expert, Felicity Allen.

Anja, who moved from her native Netherlands to England when she was 21, added: “We are ready for another 21 years here in Worcester, a city which at the moment is thriving. With new collections set to be launched for Christmas, it’s an exciting future ahead.”

Anja qualified in Amsterdam and has been designing jewellery since she was nine. During her career she has designed pieces for a number of famous faces, including the late Baroness Thatcher.

A proud supporter of causes across Worcestershire, Anja is a patron of county non-profit organisation CG5 and a supporter of the Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven. The business is also the shirt sponsor for the Worcester Valkyries Women’s Premiership rugby team.
