Midlands housing association Nehemiah UCHA is delighted to announce the recent appointment of its Vice Chair Martin Levermore MBE to Visiting Professor at the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University (BCU).
The appointment to Visiting Professor by the Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences at BCU is significant in recognising the extensive work undertaken by Martin Levermore in developing innovative medical products, used widely and beneficial to individuals nationally and internationally.

Martin Levermore is a founder and Chief Executive of MDTi, a company that works closely with the NHS on a regional and national scale to commercialise and help to deliver innovative products and services. These medical innovations have improved the lives of millions of patients worldwide.
He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and holds an honorary post as Innovation Consultant to the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.
In 2013, he was awarded an MBE for services to businesses in the West Midlands.
The Faculty of Health, Education and Life Sciences at Birmingham City University has strong links with industry and a proven track record of carrying out vital research.
"As this field has global reach, I'll be giving guest lectures here and overseas as Visiting Professor,"
adds Martin Levermore.
"The role will also entail supervising the PhD students, mentoring students, and supporting research projects into the human factor issues with markedly global impact. We'll work closely with industry, academia and government on these issues, and co-create, co-develop and collaborate to alleviate inequality."
