Specialist retirement housebuilder, Blue Cedar Homes, is celebrating its 150th sale as managing director, Nick Hole, reveals the firm’s annual turnover has exceeded £20 million per annum.

This latest milestone comes only 12 months after the firm announced its first one hundred sales, and as the company drives ambitious growth to deliver up to 70 new homes per annum.

Busiest Year to Date

Blue Cedar Homes has completed 17 sites since 2008, with 15 sites in development and six currently available for new owners.

This will make 2018 the busiest year to date for the young company, marking a 30% increase in homes built over 2017.

New sites include: Exmouth, Sparkwell, Stoke Gabriel, and Stoke Fleming in Devon; Stoke-sub-Hamdon in Somerset; St Ives in Cornwall; Stanford-in-the-Vale, Kingston Bagpuize, and Bampton in Oxfordshire; and Willersey, and Moreton-in-Marsh in Gloucestershire.

Anticipating Growing Demand

Blue Cedar Homes is on track to build 175 homes by 2018 and continues to invest in new land opportunities at desirable locations, anticipating growing demand for its high specification retirement homes.

Blue Cedar Homes’ managing director, Nick Hole, said:

“Blue Cedar Homes has tracked steady growth year on year and is now securely moving towards delivery of 70 new homes over 10 developments.

We have moved from the position of delivering just 8 homes in 2008-2009.”

Blue Cedar Homes is a leading developer of high quality homes for the over 55s, currently marketing properties at seven developments across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire.

The company has a further 15 sites in development across the south and south west of England.
