Mulbury has appointed Savills as sole selling agents on its recently consented Excelsior Works development in Castlefield, Manchester.

The development comprises of 108 luxury one, two and three bedroom apartments designed by Tim Groom Architects.

High quality development

The scheme will see the site of a former printing and book binding works in Hulme Hall Road transformed into a high quality eight-storey development adjacent to the Bridgewater Canal.

Commenting on the instruction, Jamie Adam head of Savills residential development sales team in the north of England, said:

“We are delighted that Mulbury has chosen Savills as their sole selling agents.

We have worked hard to secure the instruction and look forward to working with the team on this high profile scheme in Manchester.”

Greg Mulligan, director of Mulbury, adds:

“Excelsior Works is the third major scheme in Manchester by our Mulbury City division.

Having reviewed our options, we have decided to develop this scheme for open market sales.

“The appointment of Savills as our selling agent was an easy decision – we were impressed by Jamie and his team and their understanding of the market. We look forward to launching the development later this year.”

Some of the apartments will have balconies and access to a communal roof garden. A basement car park will provide on-site parking. Prices and further details will be released later in the year.
