Battens Solicitors - one of the South West's largest legal firms - is pleased to announce the appointment of Roger Chadwick as Head of its Commercial Property team.

Roger brings with him more than 20 years of legal and management experience, and will lead the expansion of the Battens Commercial Property team across the South West.

He will be based in Bath but will cover all offices. In Yeovil, the Commercial Property team will headed by Robert Wright and Anna Austin.

Roger originally studied Economics and Politics and worked in the banking sector before taking a career break and retraining as a solicitor.

He became a Partner within six years of joining his first law firm, was President of the Gloucestershire and Wiltshire Law Society in 2012-2013, and headed up the property division of Parker Bullen in Salisbury before moving to Battens.

His background in the financial industry means he is able to provide his clients with insightful, practical legal advice, but his specialism lies in high value, complex commercial property transactions.

Roger said:

"Clarity is key in helping clients achieve their goals. I advise on all aspects of property law and see my role at Battens - and that of my team - as providing clear cut, concise, yet excellent legal advice."
