Knight Frank’s Birmingham based Midlands logistics and industrial team has advised Mercia Real Estate on the letting of two large industrial units in the West Midlands, Rugeley 161 and Halesfield 15.
Rugeley 161, a 161,145 sq ft industrial warehouse unit on Power Station Road, has been let to international e-commerce fulfilment company DCG Logistics UK Ltd on a new 10 year lease.
Located on Power Station Road in Rugeley, the property fronts on to the A51 and is in close proximity to the Amazon Distribution Centre, approximately seven miles south of the M6 motorway.
Halesfield 15 is a 170,000 sq ft industrial facility situated in Telford, previously occupied by Brintons Carpets. The property comprises a substantial industrial warehouse facility of steel portal frame construction and two storey ancillary offices. Cardboard recycling specialist OSO Fiber UK Limited has taken a 10 year lease at the property, benefitting from the substantial power supply available to the unit.
