Indigo, RTPI Planning Consultancy of the Year 2017, has announced the opening of its latest office in Birmingham.

Indigo is one of the UK’s largest independent planning companies. Clients range from landowners, major PLCs, housebuilders, local authorities and other public sector bodies, retailers, pension funds and investment banks.

The Birmingham team, which includes Simon Neate, Director, and Associate Directors Guy Maxfield and Ben Frodsham, is in place and already working on a range of projects across the Midlands regions.

Indigo’s new office complements its existing presence in Leeds, Manchester and London.

Commenting on the latest opening, director Simon Neate said:

“Indigo has a reputation for delivering successful planning work across the Midlands, with more than 750 projects in the last ten years and we have built great contacts in planning authorities across the region.

That work has been growing: last year it accounted for more than 10 percent of our income.

Given our strength and experience here, and the exciting prospects for growth in the region, we decided that an established presence in Birmingham will continue to ensure a dedicated, ‘boots on the ground’ service for our existing clients in the region, and is a key part of our strategic growth plan.

Indigo has big plans in Birmingham and we are recruiting now in anticipation of further growth. We are open for business."
