Homes England tender success for Clarke Willmott LLP

Clarke Willmott has been appointed to the £30m legal panel of Homes England, formerly known as the Homes and Communities Agency.


It is one of thirteen firms have been appointed to the Government housing investment authority’s panel, with firms allocated into two lots.


Clarke Willmott has been appointed for real estate, development and construction, banking and restructuring, commercial law and litigation, assisting Homes England in its aim of helping to deliver 300,000 homes a year by the mid-2020s.


The contract, which began on 1 May, will run for two years until May 2020, when the agency can decide to renew it for another two years.


Clarke Willmott was appointed following a tender process which started in October 2017 and involved a multi-disciplinary team from Clarke Willmott. The team was led by Laurence Lacey, a partner in Clarke Willmott’s Bristol-based Commercial Property Team.
