The Sunday Times has named Vital Energi as one of the ten “Ones to Watch” in their 14th Annual Top Track 250 League Table. The “Ones to Watch” showcase companies whose sustained growth or plans for the future merit special recognition.

The announcement yesterday in the Sunday Times is the second time Vital Energi has been recognised after listing them at 54th in the Profit Track 100 in 2017.

Joint Managing Director, Ian Whitelock explains,

“We are delighted to be listed in the Sunday Times for the second time which is great recognition of what the Vital team has achieved.

The UK Government are supporting the development of up to £2billion of Heat Network Projects to decarbonise heat in cities throughout the UK. To support the development and quality standards of these projects we continue to focus on collaborating with clients and supply chain to deliver sustainable and viable technical solutions as well as create and evolve new technologies to provide secure and reliable heating for our future.”

Vital Energi’s turnover has grown by 172% over 4 years, with growth set to continue following recent project awards of some of the largest heat network projects in the UK including new Local Authority District Heating networks such as the Lea Valley Heat Network, Leeds City Heat Network and the Strathclyde University Heat Network in the centre of Glasgow as well as Public Sector energy efficiency schemes, such as for NHS Lothian and major Private Sector Commercial and Residential projects including Battersea Power Station.
