After a record-breaking start to the year, award-winning PR and marketing agency Shooting Star has recently secured contracts with five more new clients.

The Lincoln and Bristol-based company is now working with HMT St Hugh’s Hospital in Grimsby, Lincoln-based pre-employment screening specialist Sanctis, Hampshire-based software developer and distributor Selectec, EVO Recruitment and mint, a new and unique supermarket in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Selectec called on the agency for support as it embarks on an ambitious five-year growth plan and expands its activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Account Director at Shooting Star Sarah-Jane Freni said: “Having extended our reach into Europe throughout the last year, we’re delighted to be working with another client on an international scale – especially during such an exciting time for Selectec.

“As a multi-skilled, multi-lingual agency, we offer PR and marketing services to businesses operating in the UK and overseas and have achieved some impressive coverage for our clients in local, national and industry media.”

The organisation has also secured a contract with Boston-based EVO Recruitment to target specific niche and trade media and assist with a range of online marketing activity.

Meanwhile, HMT St Hugh’s Hospital has called on the agency to raise its profile locally and assist with its current recruitment drive and health promotion activities.

mint, which is the first in a planned chain of unique UK supermarkets, has hired Shooting Star to support the launch of its flagship store in Boston, Lincolnshire.

The agency’s latest successes follow nine client wins in the first quarter of the year, when it also recruited Nikhita Keshwara as a new Rising Star intern.

Director Jez Ashberry said: “After celebrating our 10th birthday last September, we’ve got off to an impressive start in 2017 and can’t wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.

“Along with some of our clients we were also shortlisted in the Lincolnshire Digital & Tech Awards. The digital sector is a key area of growth for us and we are delighted to be supporting #theSPARKies – the digital and tech awards for the South West.”

Fellow Director Kate Strawson added: “We’ve got a great team of people in Lincoln and Bristol and we’re pleased that all of our efforts to bring new clients on board, as well as look after the ones we’ve already got, are paying off.

“And despite fears about the impact of Brexit, the businesses we work with still want to push forward and are feeling confident about the future.”
