Signature Senior Lifestyle is delighted to be recognised as one of the ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’. In a year that has presented unprecedented challenges to care homes around the country, Signature has remained at the forefront of residential care, developing and adapting to offer its residents and family members a safe, supported environment.

While the UK government’s lockdown policies have made communication between care home residents and families challenging, Signature has found ways to keep families in touch with their loved ones. In the heart of lockdown, regular video calls were arranged with families, and letters could be delivered to residents through their website. As lockdown eased, Signature has pioneered 15-minute COVID testing at their homes to allow visiting safely.

“My father has been resident at Coombe Hill Manor for over six years and until the pandemic restrictions, led an active life both in and outside the residential home. During the crisis, the staff at Coombe have looked after not only his physical well-being but also done so much to maintain his mental health.”

“Mum moved into Ascot Grange just before the Coronavirus lockdown commenced. The staff have done their very best to keep Mum occupied and entertained during necessary periods of isolation and much reduced social contact. They have arranged video calls with various family members to help Mum keep in touch. Mum is certainly happier than she has been in a long time and I know she feels safe and cared for in her new home. Thank you to all the staff who have helped to improve Mum's quality of life. You are all doing an amazing job.”
