Employers and jobseekers in Solihull are set to benefit after a leading jobs provider unveiled its new offices in the town.

Workforce Recruitment is creating 12 new jobs with the opening of their branch and recruitment centre on the town’s Highlands Road – the company’s eighth location in the region.

The 1,260 sq ft branch in Highlands House will help hundreds of local jobseekers who are looking to fill a growing number of full and part-time vacancies in and around the area.

The new centre will also serve employers across Solihull, south Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire by providing qualified people across professional services including sales, administration, accounts and customer services.

Workforce Director Tina White, who has led the opening, said: “Solihull is a key location for our expanding business thanks to its central location, convenient links to the motorway, and connections to the rest of the region.

“With our headquarters in Redditch and another branch set to open in Birmingham city centre,we know the area very well. It is an exciting time for us as we help match talented people with employers in and around Solihull, helping them to succeed and grow.”

Paul Alekna, co-founder and CEO of Workforce Group, said: “The opening of the Solihull branch is another great milestone for us, especially at a time when the spotlight is on the region’s economic growth prospects.

“We are growing to meet the thriving demand across the south Birmingham jobs market, ensuring that the new jobs being created, especially in the private sector, are filled by highly skilled people who companies want to get onboard fast.

“We can’t wait to get going.”

Workforce employs over 100 people at its centres in Redditch, Worcester, Kidderminster, Rugby, Northampton, Coventry and at Stoneleigh Park in Warwickshire. The firm will also open new branches in Birmingham and Dudley in the coming months.

In 2015 the company, which was formed in 2003 by Midlands brothers Paul and Joe Alekna, was voted as one of the UK’s top 100 businesses to work for in the Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies survey.
