The founder of PA Forum has announced the upcoming launch of a brand new region, PA Forum Wolverhampton and the Black Country, celebrating the business support community across the areas.

The Forum will offer a range of events, including motivational and educational seminars, skill-developing workshops and social networking events for personal, executive and virtual assistants, office managers and admin support teams. It will provide them with opportunities to build upon their networks, learn from each other’s experiences and share best practice and ideas for better ways of working.

The launch of PA Forum Wolverhampton and the Black Country will be marked with an event in partnership with Destination Wolverhampton and the Black Country on Thursday 26th March, at the iconic Wolverhampton Grand Theatre. Guests are invited to enjoy an evening of networking and drinks and will then take their seats in the theatre to enjoy a performance of the acclaimed Blood Brothers.

Daniel Skermer launched PA Forum (which originated as The Birmingham PA Forum) in 2016 after noticing there were few events to support and recognise Birmingham’s business support community for their achievements and contributions. Each of PA Forum’s events to date has attracted 80-100 guests on average and, following this success, Daniel expanded PA Forum into Coventry and Warwickshire.

He then went on to launch the inaugural Birmingham PA Awards, bringing together over 700 admin professionals to celebrate the achievements of 60 finalists and 15 winners over the past two years.

Daniel Skermer, founder of PA Forum Wolverhampton and the Black Country, said:

“Following the success of the PA Forum across Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire, expanding into Wolverhampton and the Black Country felt like a natural progression.

“The Wolverhampton and Black Country areas boast a thriving community of people working in business support but, until now, unfortunately they haven’t had the platform to network with likeminded people and share all the great work they are doing. I hope the launch of the new Forum will give them just that and can’t wait to witness all the success the community is set to enjoy in 2020.”

Jan Denning, founder and owner of Destination Wolverhampton and the Black Country, added:

“It has always been an objective to bring together the PA, EA, VA and office manager community in our region.

“Working in true partnership is at the heart of everything we do, so it made perfect sense to partner with an already successful organisation like the PA Forum. Encouraging these business professionals to work together, make new connections and do business together will benefit the whole region.”
