Local Travel Company Up For Highly Coveted UK Award


Local travel company, Rich Vein Travel, based in Manchester has been shortlisted for one of the most coveted awards in the UK travel industry.

The Travolution Awards recognise the most innovative and exciting work in digital travel. The awards are focused on brands who either exist online, focus on digital activity, or are driving travel technology forward.

There are 22 categories in the 2019 Travolution Awards for suppliers and consumer-facing brands. Rich Vein Travel was shortlisted for the "Launch Campaign of The Year" earlier this month.

This award is for the best marketing campaign which launched a new travel product or brand into the market. All of the brands shortlisted needed to have demonstrated an original concept, clear evidence of who the brand or product is aimed at and vision of how to reach those people using digital channels as well as clear evidence of the impact of the campaign.

Rich Vein Travel launched in February 2018 as an online luxury travel company.

Spokesman Anthony Charles said:

“As a new entrant to the luxury travel market, differentiation and marketing have been vital in growing our business. From the outset, digital marketing has been used to increase awareness of the brand and raise the profile amongst our core audience.

“By using paid marketing channels, launching creative competitions and developing a useful blog, we have been able to reach a wide range of people with our brand and content. In addition to online channels, in 2019 we have also started to participate in offline events such as the Mere Court Hotel Wedding Fair in Knutsford in October 2019.”

He added:

“We feel extremely pleased to be shortlisted alongside such fantastic brands and partners such as Virgin Voyages. We've learnt a lot over the past 18 months, so to be recognised for our efforts is a huge bonus.

“We're looking forward to the interview stage in October, followed by the awards night on November 14th.”
