Plymouth based SSG Training and Consultancy have had a great start to 2018 with five new members joining their head office team.
Strong demand for SSG’s health and safety training and consultancy services has fuelled the recruitment drive across all areas of the business. SSG has seen recent company growth adding over 200 new clients in 2017 and the opening of new training centres including their latest centre in Worcester. The company has plans to expand geographical coverage further throughout 2018 and into 2019.
The new team members have been appointed to ensure that the company can continue to provide a high level of customer service and support throughout the business. Paul Simmonds, who has joined in the position of Trainer/Advisor, has many years’ experience in health and safety leadership as a senior contracts manager in the construction sector. Matt Maclean has joined as Head of Sales and Customer Service, bringing with him a reputation for excellence in customer relationship management with companies based throughout the region. Jade Stokes joins our Customer Service and Sales team having spent time in the leisure industry, Salman Charania has taken the position of Finance Administrator and has left a previous role with a national bank and Stacey Arnold has joined as Resource Management Administrator having had many years’ experience in this area.
The new team members are a welcome addition to the 50 strong team at SSG, and adds to the six team members who joined in 2017. SSG are enjoying a period of solid growth and look forward to continuing to improve the range of services offered to help them in fulfilling their purpose ‘to inspire people and businesses to work safely and sustainably’.
