Langley Castle Extends Magic For Little Princesses & Princes

Little princesses – and princes too – are being offered the ultimate party experience at Langley Castle Hotel, in Langley-on-Tyne, as the castle launches a brand new Princess Party package.

Whilst children have long floated around the 14th century castle imagining themselves as Cinderella or Rapunzel, a new party experience has been put together, by Langley’s event and celebrations team, to make a child’s special day at the castle truly enchanting.

The Langley Princess Party sees young ‘royals’ entertained by a party organiser, who will theme their party around Elsa, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Snow White, or Belle. Young princes can enjoy an occasion linked to somewhere magical like Neverland, or be thrilled by a wizard-themed event. The party organiser offers a range of options that can be chosen, including songs, music and craft activities.

Other little touches that can come into the mix range from a red carpet and mini-makeovers, to a special cake and a crowning ceremony that will see the princess receiving her own sparkling tiara. Those who wish to do so can also be tutored during some ‘royal lessons’ and Langley’s chef, Mark Percival, can create the perfect buffet for the birthday boy or girl and their guests.

A Princess Party can see families dip into castle life for a few hours, or be completely immersed, by taking up an exclusive-use hire option that turns the whole castle into their child’s own playground for a day, weekend, or even longer.

“With its knights in shining armour, throne-like drawing room chairs, seven-foot walls and sparkling chandeliers, Langley Castle is the perfect fairy-tale venue,” says general manager Eric Kortenbach. “We have long seen the awe appear in children’s eyes once they arrive here, so we decided to extend the magic and give them everything they could wish for through a princess or prince party.”

A leaflet explaining more about the experience can be picked up from Langley and more information is available at Further details can be gained by calling 01434 688888.
