Grace Williams, from Par in Cornwall, has joined award-winning Telecoms firm PureComms as their Human Resources Manager.

Having worked with the Arcadia Group in London for seven years after leaving Truro College, Grace has spent the last year studying for a Masters’ Degree in Human Resource Management at the University of Plymouth. Her thesis was on shared parental leave.

“I’ve really enjoyed the course and am thrilled to now be joining a forward-thinking company like PureComms,” she said. “It’s a great opportunity to become part of a hard-working, award-winning team, that is helping so many businesses become more technologically efficient and stream-lined in terms of their communications infrastructure and systems. It’s also brilliant to be back in Cornwall.”

Rob Vivian, founder and CEO at PureComms comments “We’re delighted that Grace is joining our team in Cornwall. “It’s not often a business can welcome somebody of Grace’s calibre though its door, so we’re very excited about her appointment.”

PureComms has two offices – one in Bristol and the other in St Austell Business Park where Grace will be based. In her new role, one of Grace’s first jobs was to attend the Cornwall Business Fair at the Eden Project on 17th May.

“We had a stand at the event which attracted lots of businesses who we were able to speak to” said Grace. “I really enjoyed meeting everyone and am excited about the prospect of following up on all the leads generated.”
