Fujifilm has selected Midlands PR, social and search agency, WPR to deliver its nationwide communications photo imaging strategy.

The photographic and imaging company wanted a PR agency with previous achievements in delivering high-impact national B2C and B2B PR campaigns.

The partnership will see Birmingham-based WPR and Fujifilm deliver a mix of proactive media relations activity, influencer engagement and content marketing, with the ultimate aim of driving more individuals in the UK market to print photos they take on their smartphones and cameras.

As the quality of images captured by smartphones continues to improve, the printing industry continuously needs to offer imaginative and efficient solutions to provide value for customers to encourage them to turn their digital images into physical ones.

WPR will work alongside Fujifilm’s photo imaging department to communicate the latest revolutionary products the organisation has launched, in pursuit of next level technology that offers unique solutions for the transformation of photographic images.

Jane Ainsworth, managing director at WPR, commented:

“Fujifilm demonstrates an ability to create innovative, cutting-edge technology that meets the dynamic needs of the market. This understanding comes from the company’s evident commitment to the research and development stages of product production.”

Commenting on the appointment, Gloria McCann, marketing manager at Fujifilm, said:

“We chose to work with WPR due to their proven track record of delivering results and executing creative campaigns that tangibly impact consumer behaviour. We’re excited to see where the partnership takes us.”
