Poole based charity, PramaCare, have created 50 new care support roles to deal with the increasing demand caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The charity have been around for nearly 40 years and support older people in the local area, helping them to remain independent in their own homes.

Steve Robinson, Chief Executive for Prama says:

“We are supporting people coming home from hospital and are creating 50 new roles to ensure we can continue to assist existing clients as well as others who need our support in these unprecedented times.

PramaCare are offering paid online inductions and face to face training to new recruits. As care support workers, you will be entitled to key worker school places and a healthcare cashback scheme for yourselves and your families.

We need to support the increasing demand for our care services. We helped older people feel less isolated before COVID-19 and will continue to do so when this has passed.

PramaCare is a charity, our focus is helping people enjoy life as they age and treating everyone with dignity and respect, clients, staff and volunteers alike”.

PramaCare ask that you are a driver with your own transport and are available to work every other weekend for some hours. Priority will be given to anyone who can work between 7am and 11am or 5pm till 11:30pm, but there are plenty of other calls that need cover as well.
