Increased demand for manned guarding, CCTV, fire and intruder alarms has helped a Solihull based security specialist add £1m to its turnover in 2016.

Integrity Security Group, which was started eight years ago by local entrepreneurs Tony Turner and Will Adams, has developed into one of the largest independent firms in its field, employing more than 150 people and boasting annual sales of £3.5m.

The duo have also completed a major relocation in the town to Highlands Road, moving to an office three times the size and offering larger conference facilities, open plan offices, a viewing room and storage for its security products.

“It’s fair to say we’ve come a long way since we took the plunge into self-employment in 2008, when it was just the two of us and a few part-time staff,” explained Tony Turner, Managing Director.

“We started in a spare room at Will’s house, but knew deep down there was an opportunity to deliver a more personalised security service that we could tailor to match the exact requirements of our clients.”

He continued: “Hortons’ Estate was our breakthrough customer when they asked us to look after four of their sites. I’m delighted to say they are still our largest client and we work all over the country on their behalf now.

“2017 has already got off to an excellent start, with a string of new business wins secured, including security services for CPN Systems, Envira, Hellermann Tyton, Jack Enterprises and Lion FPG.”

Integrity Security Group provides bespoke security services and facilities management to a blue chip client base spread across the country.

Services range from manned guarding, mobile patrols, key holding and alarm response, event security, temporary guarding and strategic consultancy on security matters.

It has also invested heavily in expanding its electronic security work, including complex CCTV, access control and fire and intruder alarm works.

Will Adams continued: “Our independence means we are very agile, can react quickly to changes in the marketplace and act on what our customers are telling us…all designed to give them the security service they need and not one that is off-the-shelf.

“This year we will continue to increase the number of technical staff we employ and are planning to explore more opportunities to take on electronic security work and mobile security contracts, especially key holding, alarm response and patrolling.”

He concluded: “Thanks to new offices in Aldridge and Letchworth Garden City in the South East we now have coverage in key regional locations and aren’t ruling out future sites as and when demand dictates.”

Integrity Security Group holds a number of industry accreditations, including Safe Contractor, CHAS, Principal Member Status of the British Security Industry Association and SIA Approved Contractor Status.

In addition, the company is also ISO:9001 and ISO:14001 accredited, with an impressive track record of zero major or minor non-conformances for the past six years.
