New Head of L.B. Foster Automation & Materials Handling

L.B. Foster Europe announces the appointment of a new Head of Automation at its operating division L.B. Foster Automation & Materials Handling in Nottingham.


Mark Stamford, aged 47, joins the business which specialises in innovative automated engineering and materials handling solutions for the food and beverage, automotive and distribution and logistics sectors. Previously Mark was Head of Modernisation & Upgrades at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery in Lincoln.

Mark is hugely experienced, having managed business units up to £100m in size, with full Profit & Loss and strategic planning responsibility. L.B. Prior to working for Siemens, Mark was employed at the Boulting Group, a multi-disciplinary engineering solutions provider, operating in a diverse range of industry sectors in the UK and internationally. The company employs over 50 staff at its ‘Centre of Excellence’ in Nottingham.
