TotalKare, the UK's number one provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions, has welcomed two new additions to its workforce as it gears up for more success in 2018.

First is the appointment of Steve Braund as Marketing Manager, who brings with him a wealth of marketing experience, specialising in engineering and utilities disciplines. Braund, 37, is a qualified journalist and skilled graphic designer, and will be applying these skills to his new role to drive brand awareness and increase sales opportunities across TotalKare's full range of products and services.

Steve's career, prior to marketing, was somewhat unusual as he spent much of his twenties touring up and down the country while fronting a heavy metal band whose material, he reliably informs us, can still be found in a few good record stores nationwide. Away from the office Steve is a keen follower of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and enjoys good television, citing Breaking Bad and Suits among his favourites.

"I'd been aware of TotalKare's quality and industry standing for several years, so naturally was interested when this opportunity was presented to me," said Steve.

I'm very much looking forward to introducing fresh ideas to the company's marketing strategy and applying my knowledge and experience to support business growth."

Steve's appointment follows the promotion of Tristan Johnston, who moves from marketing into a key operational role within the company following a successful five-year spell during which he has dramatically improved the marketing function at TotalKare and implemented numerous processes to drive efficiencies across the business.

Second is the appointment of Jack Longstaff, who is commencing a 12-month training and induction period with TotalKare before taking up the role of Trainee Area Sales Manager. Jack previously gained experience as a sales executive for Evans Halshaw Citroen and is a keen sportsman, having played for Leeds United FC's youth academy between the ages of 13 and 15 years of age. These days, however, he spends more time as a spectator for his beloved Huddersfield Town FC.

"On behalf of TotalKare I am delighted to welcome both Steve and Jack to the company,"

said Sales & Marketing Director James Radford.

"Both join the business with impressive track records and their appointments reflect continued investment from TotalKare as we underline our position as the UK's leading provider of heavy-duty vehicle lifting solutions.

Over the past five years Tristan has become an integral member of the TotalKare team, leading a number of successful projects in marketing and the wider business during that time. His promotion is well-deserved and we congratulate him as he embarks on the next chapter of his career with TotalKare."
