White Hart’s kitchen team to grow to meet demand

A SOMERSET gastropub that opened nearly three years ago is looking to develop and expand its operation further and needs some additional staff to help (May, 2018).


The White Hart in Weston In Gordano, run by husband and wife team Mike and Chris Yeatman, is searching for three more chefs as a result of its on-going success.


Chris explained:

“We have been open almost three years and have an amazing food reputation. Now we want to take this further and need some more staff to help us with our plans.

“We’re looking for three new chefs to join our talented team and are inviting applications from all levels of the profession and are happy to hear from cooks who are new to the world of restaurant work and would like to gain expertise and training, as well as experienced chefs who have perhaps worked for quite some time in the kitchen and want a normal, secure, regular job.

“Our plans to develop and enhance our culinary personnel will not alter the quality or range of dishes we currently offer our loyal customers. They will still experience the finest fresh ingredients that we have always used and we will continue to produce some of the very best food in the area.

“We’re very much looking forward to enriching our team with these three new members and bringing in some fresh, exciting new staff to develop our current offering further.”

The White Hart was taken on and renovated by Mike and Chris in 2015 after it had been closed for two years.


The couple and their team wanted to create a unique experience for visitors and diners and have developed a unique, outside, all-weather garden area that includes a large central tepee with fire pit that is used for weddings and parties, a rum shack and an open-air pizzeria kitchen.
