The Belfry Hotel & Resort is once again in the running for multiple industry accolades after it was shortlisted for the ‘Excellence in Hospitality’ and ‘Sales & Marketing’ award categories for the Birmingham Chambers of Commerce Awards 2018.
The awards – which take place on 19th April – celebrate and showcase the best of business and enterprise throughout the Birmingham region. As part of ten awards handed out, the ‘Excellence in Hospitality’ and ‘Sales & Marketing’ accolades recognise businesses that have set exceptionally high standards in their respective categories.

Both Birmingham Chambers of Commerce awards also highlight the significant strides The Belfry has made in the last 12 months. At the end of 2017, its customer satisfaction rating – based on feedback from hotel, golf, spa and conference guests – grew significantly. The Belfry has seen the benefits of many fully-integrated sales and marketing campaigns that have delivered record numbers to its hotel, golf, spa and conference facilities over the last year.
The Belfry’s nomination for both awards reflects the recent ‘Gold Flag’ status it received from the 59club, the market-leader in performance and customer service measurement for golf, leisure, spa and events. In August last year, The Belfry was ranked in the top three European golf destinations for customer service following a monthly mystery visit by 59club.
The Belfry has been no stranger to major award wins in recent times. At The 2017 World Travel Awards, it was named ‘England’s Leading Resort’ and ‘England’s Leading Conference Hotel’, whilst at The World Golf Awards the resort claimed three accolades: ‘England’s Best Golf Hotel’, ‘England’s Best Golf Course’ and ‘Europe’s Best Golf Hotel’. This year, The Belfry was also shortlisted for ‘Best UK Hotel’ at the M&IT awards.
