Potential visitors can now take a 3D tour of one of the South West’s leading corporate event venues Clevedon Hall, allowing them to explore every room from their desktop, tablet or mobile phone.

The Grade II* listed mansion has compiled 3D footage of the whole property which enables people to look at all the event spaces, extensive grounds and the cottage before they visit in person.

Three separate 3D tours have been created, one depicting the hall prepared for a series of business meetings, another showing the hall decked out for a wedding, and a third showing off the new self-contained cottage.

The 3D footage also takes viewers around the hall’s 25 beautiful ensuite bedrooms, which can be hired as part of event packages or occasionally for overnight bookings.

Clevedon Hall, which stands in several acres of beautiful gardens overlooking a lake, was unveiled as a premier corporate event location in 2010 but has since completed a seven-year £4.5 million refurbishment.

The initial revamp, carried out by Bristol architects Childs+Sulzmann in conjunction with English Heritage and Bath-based Jane Clayton Interiors, saw many historic features restored and bespoke furnishing installed in keeping with the historic building’s rich heritage.

A short drive from central Bristol, overlooking the Victorian splendour of Clevedon Bay, the hall can now cater for up to 250 guests in comfort and style as well as more intimate events or highly confidential business meetings.

Large lavish parties or conferences can be hosted in the Great Hall or Grand Library, while exclusive smaller gatherings are better suited to the Conrad Finzel or Dame Rosa Burden rooms. The refurbished Orangery provides another wonderful light event space.

The elegant bedrooms have all been furnished in a country house style, providing the perfect place to crash after a party or busy away day.

A new self-catered cottage which comfortably sleeps up to six guests, with an enclosed garden and private parking, has been built in a historic stone building, which once formed part of the estate’s stable blocks.

Several acres of landscaped grounds provide a perfect location for outdoor events, fireworks and entertainment. The gardens also boast an outdoor event space, where drinks can be served around an accoya wood gazebo with sweeping views down over the lake and towards the sea.

Unlike many well-known venues, Clevedon Hall has never functioned as a hotel, instead dedicating itself entirely to hosting bespoke events. This offers much greater levels of flexibility and exclusivity when planning corporate get togethers, so all guests benefit from a completely personalised service.

Built between 1850 and 1852 as the home of Bristol sugar tycoon Conrad Finzel I, the Grade II* listed building has undergone many transformations, from private house to hospital, army mess, girls’ school and offices.

Bought by Peter McCarthy and his wife Sally in 1991, the couple lived there for eight years with their family while also running their telecoms business in the majority of the building before renting it out for commercial use.

In 2010, they decided to restore the building to its former glory in order to reopen it as a luxury wedding and corporate events venue.

Combining a rich history and beautiful grounds with every modern luxury, Clevedon Hall offers a corporate events location like no other.
